The first step, which is crucial in the production process, involves preparing the raw materials. Our company opts for dry raw materials rather than fresh ones just harvested, as this saves time during processing. We always select the best materials to ensure the creation of high-quality products.
Once the raw materials arrive at the factory, our workers begin processing them. This includes stripping and splitting the materials into small fibers for weaving. Initially, the raw materials are shredded by machine; however, to enhance the aesthetics, all raw fibers are hand-stripped and trimmed by our skilled workers once more.
After preparing the materials, the artisans start the weaving process. The artisans at PhuHao are highly experienced, which results in truly exceptional products.
The products undergo a thorough cleaning with strong water before moving on to the drying stage. This step aims to remove dust and any excess fibers produced during weaving.
The items are placed in a drying room to reduce moisture content. This drying process ensures that the products are lighter and more durable.
After drying in the drying room, the products are further dried under natural sunlight. This method not only enhances colors but also helps retain the natural fragrance of the raw materials. If the products are solely dried by machine, they won’t have the same fragrant scent that comes from sun drying.
Once the drying stage is complete, the products undergo a final inspection before packaging. During this process, items are trimmed again or brushed to remove dust and excess fibers. Depending on the product, they may also be wiped with a damp cloth and a special solution to clean any stains from the drying process. We ensure that all products are meticulously cleaned, so they are ready for immediate use upon arrival.
For packaging, each product is wrapped in a separate plastic bag to provide optimal protection during transportation.
In the final step of production at Phu Hao, the finished products are packed into sturdy, 5-layer thick cardboard boxes. These boxes are designed to protect the items during long journeys.
